1996 Bachelor Sciences Physical Therapy, McGill University, Montreal, QC 1997 Successfully completed the Canadian Physiotherapy Exam allowing to work as a physiotherapist anywhere in Canada. 1998 Completed mandatory post graduated training to treat women’s pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence. 1999 6-month mentorship in pelvic floor rehabilitation with Sonja Bray, an experienced physiotherapist based in Calgary, AB. Since then, she focuses her practice on the treatment of pelvic floor function. 2001 Fafard Physiotherapy was founded and offers private one-on-one physiotherapy session for the treatment of pelvic floor function,
myofascial pain syndrome, preparation to delivery and recovery post partum.2008 Started her osteopathic studies at the "College d’Etudes Ostéopathiques de Québec" (College of Osteopathic Studies of Quebec City). Anne-Marie believes in continuing education and has taken several post graduate training related to women’s health and the pelvic floor. She has studied with Dr. Bernadette de Gasquet, physician and yoga instructor, from Paris, France, introducing new ideas around birthing and abdominal strengthening. She has also studied with the John Barnes’ Myofascial Release school in the United States and in September 2008 she has started her studies in osteopathy at the "College d’Etudes Ostéopathiques de Québec" (College of Osteopathic Studies of Quebec City).
